Fellows, season 2
Rosalie crowned Fellows her favourite restaurant of 2024, thanks to its effortlessly cool industrial vibe, generously sauced vegetarian pasta, homemade focaccia, and the irresistible ritual of grating your own Parmesan at the table. No wonder the trio behind it—Julia Chican, Marine Ricklin, and Mehdi Favri—has decided to open a second location in Paris’s 6th arrondissement.
Nestled on the corner of the ever-popular Marché Saint-Germain, the new Fellows is larger, brighter, yet still true to its roots: raw, welcoming, vegetarian, and unapologetically indulgent. Better yet, it remains incredibly affordable.
Need proof? A meal featuring the olive cream and asparagus pizzetta, followed by the Mafé pasta—fresh pasta made in-house daily using French agroecological flour, served with a rich peanut and tomato sauce, pickled green chillies, and fresh coriander—and finished with a slice of Basque cheesecake comes to under €30.
Whether perched at the counter, gathered around the large communal table, or relaxing on one of the banquettes by the windows, Rosalie is already waiting for the return of sunny days so she can settle onto the spacious terrace beneath the market’s arcades. Until then, she’s left wondering how to recreate the restaurant’s unforgettable spinach with sesame goma dressing and fresh coriander. To uncover the chef’s secrets, she’ll simply have to keep coming back—which, honestly, is no hardship at all.
