Fellows Saint-Germain: A New Address from Maslow Group
Following the success of Fellows in Paris’s 10th arrondissement, Maslow Group has opened a new destination dedicated to fresh pasta in Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
A Vegetarian Haven in the Heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés
Located in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Fellows Saint-Germain has plenty to win diners over. One of its biggest assets is its beautiful, spacious terrace tucked beneath the arcades of Marché Saint-Germain.
For rainy days, the indoor space is just as appealing, centred around a long 20-seat counter where guests can watch the chefs at work. Green marble, vintage khaki velvet banquettes and stainless-steel tables create a carefully considered setting. As with the other restaurants from Maslow Group—such as Maslow Temple—the attention to detail in the interior design is unmistakable.
Generous, Comforting Dishes
On the menu, Fellows Saint-Germain serves generous vegetarian pasta dishes, with set menus including a side and pasta or pasta and dessert for €21, or a side, pasta and dessert for €25.
The Artichoke Pasta stands out, particularly for its Kalamata olive cream, although it arguably softens the flavour of the artichokes a little too much. Richer and more indulgent, the Brillat-Truffle Pasta combines a luxurious Brillat-Savarin and truffle cream, finished with mushroom powder and chives.
While the izakaya-style mushrooms marinated with egg-yolk bottarga are slightly underwhelming, we particularly enjoyed the Zucchini Aguachile, beautifully presented and generously coated in a vibrant citrus and spicy sauce.
Classic Desserts
The four desserts currently on offer are all reliable favourites: chocolate mousse, cheesecake, panna cotta and financier.
The latter is the clear winner for us. Its gooey peanut and sea-salt centre pairs beautifully with carob, an ingredient whose environmental impact is significantly lower than cocoa while costing roughly the same.
A lovely addition to Paris’s 6th arrondissement.
