This vegetarian fresh pasta restaurant is opening a second, massive branch in Paris!

Just six months ago, chef Mehdi Favri delighted us with the opening of his third restaurant, Maslow Temple, a spectacular, crimson-hued space serving utterly delicious vegetarian sharing plates, perfect for enjoying with friends (or keeping all to yourself). This time, however, the chef is bringing back his fresh pasta concept, Fellows, with the opening of a second location in Paris’s 6th arrondissement.

Paris’s vegetarian pasta king

For anyone who hasn’t yet discovered him, Mehdi Favri is a true champion of vegetarian cuisine. Through Maslow and Fellows, he celebrates the endless possibilities of plant-based cooking, whether through creative vegetable-forward dishes or one universally loved comfort food: pasta.

At his neo-’70s-inspired restaurant on Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Denis, the chef serves homemade fresh pasta dishes priced between 9 and 13, remarkably affordable, prepared according to traditional techniques and paired with inventive recipes that are, of course, entirely vegetarian.

Fellows 2.0 is coming soon

So, what’s on the menu at Fellows? Signature dishes include classic Tagliatelle Aglio e OlioPici with Basque tomette cheese, za’atar, sesame and black pepper, and a playful vegetarian take on Carbonara made with mushroom “lardons.”

Our favourite, though, is Mehdi’s tribute to his mother: Pici with butter and cheese, topped with mustard pickles. It’s pure comfort food, a warm hug in a bowl, with perfectly cooked pasta that leaves you wanting another bite immediately.

The good news? Soon, you’ll be able to enjoy these comforting dishes on the Left Bank as well. The chef recently announced on Instagram that a larger Fellows 2.0 is set to open, offering plenty more space to welcome Paris’s pasta lovers.

An opening date has yet to be revealed, but one thing is certain: we’re already looking forward to grabbing our forks.
